Snowing Again
Well it's snowing again. I guess a lot of people are sick of it, but I am not. I like the snow. Now I don't like the ice and when it does that mix thing, no thank you. But I remember all the snow we used to get as a kid and it is fun to see it pile up this year. The new snowblower is working and the house is warm. No reason not to enjoy the snow while we have it.
I was at a store today and mentioned the snow to the cashier. She talked about being sick of the snow and then said, "before you know it, we'll be complaining that it is too hot." I guess she is right. We do like to complain. Too cold, too hot, too much snow. Whatever happened to the contentment that Paul talks about. He said that he had learned to be content in whatever circumstances he found himself. And the circumstances that he lists are not trivial things like bad weather. He talks about hunger, beatings, imprisonment. We complain about such small things. So if you're reading this, don't get sick of the snow. Be thankful for the beauty that God has sent our way today.
