Pastoral Staff

Pastor: Rev. Ira A. Hall

    Ira has served as Senior Pastor of Bean's Corner since December of 2006. He served as Youth/Associate Pastor for the 10 previous years. His wife Sarah and he have three children.

    Ira & Sarah have a strong passion for the youth ministry and Direct Camp Berea in North Turner, Maine. Their focus at Bean's Corner includes encouraging a Great Commission Mission for the church, pursuing a team approach to ministry through disciple-making, and strengthening the love-relationships between the members of the church family. With the growing number of young children in the church, the children's ministry is also a focus of the Halls and the other parents.

    Ira is a graduate of Lancaster Bible College. He is a popular chapel and conference speaker and continues to work with the InterVarsity Christian Fellowship of UMF, where he previously served as staff member (98-02).

Associate Pastor: Nate Churchill

    Nate joined the Bean's Corner team in the fall of 2008. He had previously served for 4.5 years at Spruce Head Community Church in Spruce Head, Maine. There he had primary responsibility over the youth and children's programs. He & Charlene were married in the spring of 2009.

    Nate has a great connection with children and teens. He and Charlene were staff members at Camp Berea for many years and Nate has also been a speaker. He has spoken in Christian school chapels and youth group conferences. He has a down to earth manner that makes it easy for people to approach him. Nate has a special passion for evangelism and interactive Bible Study. He plays the guitar and helps lead worship during morning services.

    Nate is a graduate of New Brunswick Bible Institute and looks forward to later completing his bachelor's degree. He is currently working toward ordination.
